"I’ve been twice to this restaurant, each time the food has been delicious the “menu du jour” has been different and both were great. The first time I had goats cheese, salmon and ice cream and the second time I had spinach and ricotta ravioli, daurade as mains and pistachio crème brûlée. Both were delicious and the goats cheese was so creative! Good service, accommodating to changes in weather (thunder and torrential down pour). The terrace was lovely to sit out in the sun."

"Beautiful Sunday lunch. Highly recommend. Started off with apéro on the terrace enjoying the winter sun, watching the world go by. Moved indoors to find we were seated by the fire in a homely dining room. Food was delicious, perfectly timed between courses by a very attentive and friendly waitress. No better way to spend a Sunday. Looking forward to our next visit."

"We've dined and lunched here several times. The food is served like in a star-restaurant, but for a nice price. It looks and tastes great! I always order the "menu of the day" and I've never been disappointed. The location is breathtaking: a cozy terrace with a view over the Dordogne river. Also the terrace in the back at the courtyard is stunning. The interior inside is beautiful too. One time, I was served the wrong starter I didn't order. When we mentioned it afterwards, I received the right entrée anyway, even though I already ate the first one. That's the best service! Staff is always friendly and kind."

"Lovely riverside terrace bar with restaurant, overlooking the Dordogne river. Very friendly service and pleasant ambience. Only stopped for a refreshingly cool beer with a hint of lemon, perfect on a hot summer's day, but will definitely return for a meal. Booking a table is advised."

"A fairly easy five stars. We were attracted to the restaurant initially because of the lovely River Dordogne-facing terrace, although we ended up being recommended the tree-covered garden at the rear. We took the Menu Du Jour, and weren't disappointed. The burrata starter was superb, and Mrs H tells me that the mushroom risotto was a triumph. My roast chicken was magnificent. Lovely food, pretty surroundings, attentive service, great value-for-money."

"I dined here last night - didn't book but managed to get a table on the terrace. It's picture perfect and only 20 meters from the Dordogne. I am a private chef and love seasonality & great local produce and classic pairings/food combinations. I choose from the specials/menu du jour menu with a selection of 5 local wine and it's the best meal I've had for quite a while. Loved it - well done chef. The seared foie gras was sensational and the ravioli main was packed with so much flavour - the Parmesan crisp gave texture and an extra umami hit! My fav wine was the Monbazillac Femme je vous aime - who needs Sauternes when you can have this sweet wine of the area."
